Signpost Academy
The Signpost Academy is the training arm of Signpost Productions, providing a range of services and development opportunities.
As a producer of more than 1,500 hours of content a year, nobody knows diverse television production better than we do and we have made it our mission to develop and train the television professionals of the future.
We provide a completely Deaf-led television production course, covering all aspects of production and editorial. These courses are offered periodically and through training organisations across the UK.
Our training team includes broadcasters with decades of experience in a wide range of genres including factual entertainment and news. As such we can offer a range of presentation skills courses tailored to individual needs. We also offer one-to-one voice over training.
Using our state of the art studio and voice over recording facilities, we offer sessions for corporate clients and broadcast clients, helping to build confidence or just improve skills that are already there.
Signpost Productions is a specialist in diverse content, and experts in British Sign Language provision. As such the Signpost Academy also offers bespoke Deaf Awareness Training for both broadcast and corporate clients. Delivered by Deaf trainers, these sessions are educational and informative, helping clients work with Deaf staff and customers. We have worked with broadcast clients including Netflix, Studio Lambert and Coronation Street.
In addition, our team of diversity experts can deliver diversity and inclusion training to your team, helping you address inclusion and diversity with our help, support and guidance. This training also includes a diversity audit of your organisation.
The Signpost Academy can work with clients of all sizes and with varying requirements, tailoring training to specific needs.
